Nichole LuMaye – Master Stylist

I love all things beautiful and unique. My philosophy is that a woman’s beauty lives in her individuality. My actual love of hair and fashion started with paper dolls and has evolved into an amazing career. I originally started going to school for art and design and then realized the only artists I knew that were supporting themselves were cosmetologists. Once I made the choice to become a hairstylist I have never looked back.
Over the years I have traveled to NYC to study at Bumble and Bumble University and worked with some amazing stars in the industry like, Oribe, Daniel Dhoud, Kris Sorbie, Beth Minardi and Tom Gallagher. My work has been featured in Salon Today magazine, Oribe.com, Bravo TV, Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, and Good Morning America. As a hairstylist I am challenged every day and never stop learning, which I consider a blessing. I approach each service with understanding first, which helps to build the framework for an enduring relationship. I have built some amazing friendships over the years with my clients and I learn from them every day as well. I can honestly say I leave work happy and inspired daily!

What makes Vannity so special? ” Besides the amazing talent and the incredible quality of work….. our salon is like a family and when you become a guest here you also become part of our family!  I’ve been in this business for a long time and can tell you I’ve never experienced anything like it. Who are your beauty icons? ” I’m all over the place on this one…anyone of the classics like Bridget Bardot to the newbies like GiGi Hadid”  ( Disclaimer I adore the Kardashians!)

What are your specialties? “ I love all parts of hair and make up and feel so lucky to incorporate a little bit of everything in my salon day. If I had to pick one thing it would be personalized hair color. I love utilizing hand painting, color melting, ombre and traditional foiling to achieve a one of kind color unique to each client.”
