Rick Owens, the man who gave the world this, is at it again. 

 
For his fall show, models walked the runway with what he called conceptual birds nests. I want to support the arts and lord knows I love fashion….. But seriously? It could be the three hours of sleep and a sick baby clouding my judgement. It could be jealousy because as a full time, working mother of two I can not picture a world when I could spend my time being this ridiculous. Or it could be just another example of an artist being silly so the powers that be in fashion can say it’s amazing and swoon.  Regardless, human back packs and a helmet like cloud of matted hair is failing to strike me as fashion forward this morning.
